Market Intelligence
Global, United States, China, Egypt. Context before a sector brief.
01
The same brand brief dies differently in each economy. Esports, housing, food, and the creator stack do not share a clock — or a definition of “the market.” The useful global view is a set of named ranges, not a single growth story.
02
US brand spend still follows household balance sheets. Housing is not one price: value, asking, and closed sale moved in different directions in mid-2026. Creators are a mature monetization layer here — and still not a single market size.
03
China is a concentration problem, not a “growth story.” Esports users sat at 495 million in both the 2025 People’s Daily citation and the H1 2026 industry report. Revenue is large, platform-intense, and policy-sensitive. Do not import a Western media-rights brief unchanged.
04
Egypt is not “emerging digital.” It is a property-and-city market under a more selective 2026. Top-10 contracted sales fell in Q1. The association still expects price growth. That split is the brief: activity cooled; the price story did not die.
